Why Not Nails is a premium nail salon and professional training academy in Brooklyn, New York. Founded by Elizaveta Kolodiy, who grew the business from a home studio in 2020 into a leading salon and academy, it offers precision-based nail services and hands-on nail education under one roof. Salon services include Russian manicure, structured gel manicure, nail extensions, dip powder nails, polygel nails, and professional pedicure. Every service follows strict hygiene and sterilization standards, and the salon uses only HEMA-free and TPO-free products. The results are clean, balanced, and long-lasting. The academy teaches the same standards it practices daily in the salon. Courses include a one-day Russian manicure workshop, a three-day Russian manicure foundation course, a manicure course, a dry pedicure course, gel nail extensions (soft gel tips), dip powder, and an advanced nail technician program. Experienced techs can take skill upgrades in speed, cuticle work, salon nail art, and client communication, and on-site training is available for salon teams. Classes are held in small groups with real models and real salon workflow, and the school offers instruction in three languages.
